Ball breaking games have always be amongst my favourite arcade games ever since the inception of the original breakout game called Breakout by Atari (1976) that is available to play via various browser sites now, plus you can get the sequel Super Breakout free HERE (1979) it does require DOSBox to work.

There are many arkanoid/breakout clones available today, though most in my opinion are run of the mill sorts however there are the occasional jewels amongst the pieces of fake jewellery to be found. I've included the free commercial games available from GameTop and FreeGamePick though technically they are not freeware as elsewhere you do have to pay for them. (There are loads more but most are all sub par in my opinion). I posted the full review over in the comments section HERE by mistake (where you can also see the communities opinions of the game) so I'm not going to repost it here, though I thought I would add the notes section as it contains all the freeware arkanoids that in my opinion are worth downloading.
